EMPLOYMENT POLICY
1. Employees engaged by F.B. Masonry Pty Ltd will be paid wages and conditions In accordance with our Enterprise Bargaining Agreement.
2. In addition to the terms and conditions provided by the award, the relevant industrial legislation, awards and / or industrial agreements as they may apply from time to time and project to project, shall be binding on the company and its employees. Copies of these agreements are available from the company office.
3. All employees are expected to perform their work in a safe manner, and use correctly, any safety devices provided for the protection of other workers and members of the general public. The appropriate protective clothing and footwear must be worn at all times.
4. The daily hours of work will be advised by your supervisor. These hours may change as determined by the conditions which apply on the site of which you work. It is a condition of acceptance that employees be available to work reasonable overtime at the request of the company. Any absence, anticipated late starts, or leave must be promptly notified to the supervisor. If annual leave is required during the year 2 weeks notice must be given to the supervisor and office staff.
5. A probationary period of 12 weeks shall apply to all employees. Should leave be required due to sudden illness, a Doctors Certificate must be produced for each day absent.
6. All employees prior to commencement must complete an Employment Application Form and declare any existing injuries or physical limitations which may impede their work performance.
7. All prior and outstanding Workers Compensation Claims must be declared prior to engagement.
8. As per our Enterprise Bargaining Agreement, all payments will be by direct credit to the bank and account number which has been nominated.
9. All employees must be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical examination at the company’s request.
10. You acknowledge that you have read our Enterprise Bargaining Agreement and understand its full content. You will abide by these conditions stated, and if any discrepancies the supervisor will be advised of this.
